Center Christopher Zane Kaman was drafted in this years past draft by the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round sixth overall. Kaman attended high school at Tri-unity Christian, and was drafted out of Central Michigan College by the Clips.

As a Center Kaman or known by his teammates as “Mikan", has caught ball divers off guard as he usually closes up the gaps surprisingly quickly and, he has a vintage post up game and does extremely well on pump fakes to shake defenders out of position and get himself to the charity stripe. In Chris's first year at Central Michigan 2000-2001 he ranked fourth in the conference in blocks at 1.6 per game. He also was third on his team in rebounding and scoring. To rank that high in his Freshmen year he cleaned the glass at an average of 4.8 a game and sink 9.8 points a game. He was also selected as a MAC All-Freshmen team selection. In his Sophomore year (2001-2002) lead his team in scoring in game seven times and in rebounding a remarkable 18 times out of 24 games and he only started 13! Pretty amazing if you ask me. He averaged 8.3 boards and 11.8 points that year. Kaman managed to put up a pretty impressive seven double-doubles his best double-double was a 17 rebound 19 point effort against Georgia State. In his Junior year his last at Central Michigan (2002-2003) he was a Defensive Player of the Year, an Honorable Mention All-America by AP and Mid-American Conference Player of the Year. He also lifted his team to the NCAA Tourney for the first time in 16 years (1987)! Christopher Kaman was born April 28, 1982 in Grand Rapids Michigan his high school Tri-unity Christian was located in Wyoming Michigan. His favorite NBA team is the Sacramento Kings. His hobbies include singing and fixing cars. His favorite book is the Holy Bible. And lists his favorite player as the man from North Carolina himself Michael Jordan.
